All the other players are "Hutts" and do nothing but buy slave-girls. 9. The Gaming group focuses on nothing but the Cantina scenes. They bring "props" to simulate the feel of a seedy bar.... 8. The "FreeForm" GM doesn't use any books for his "Unique Campaign"...just his hardbound book "Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter." 7. The GM announces your character will be "Porkins" or "Biggs" at the Battle of Yavin. 6. The group you join has a stack of astrophysics books, slide rulers, and calculaters, on hand at all times to resolve "Space Gaming". 5. Your new to a group and decide to play a Bounty Hunter. Your first mission is to hunt down the other high level players... 4. The GM tells you that the party will all be Protocol Droids with restraining bolts. They are all stationed aboard a Medical Frigate orbiting Elrood. They currently are translating languages so the medical staff can help treat alien patients. 3. Your young X-Wing Pilot Squad's first mission does not even involve X-Wings. You are given blasters and told to take out an entire platoon of Storm Commandos and 4 AT-ST walkers. 2. Unknown Vessels assail the party that are cubed shaped and constantly tell the group "Resistance is Futile..." 1. The GM introduces the new Jedi Padawan to their teacher...the NPC Jedi Master that used to be his PC. He is a former Death Star Pilot that became an Imperial Royal Guardsmen then a Sith Lord. His heart was softened by Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker (after he defeated Luke in combat) and they became good friends. He turned from his evil ways and now is a "Tough No Nonsense" Jedi-Master. The training school is on his personal Death Star.... -------------------- "The Empire will Rise Again" Posts: 53 | From: Anuire | Registered: Apr 2001 | IP: Logged jdimstr12000 Member Member # 26687 posted July 30, 2001 02:32 PM ROTFLMAO Here goes... 10)Your newest player insists on having his own Sun Crusher for his first vehicle. 9)ALL your players have gone over to the Dark Side. 8)Your players get distracted by a comercial for Episode II. 7)There's an argument going on over which is better: Jar Jar or Wicket. 6)Your GM plays with the Infinities rules, and puts the Jedi in the group against BOTH Darth Vader and Darth Maul. 5)You can't decide whether to watch the movies or play the game. 4)All your players are under 15 years old (I have this problem ) 3)You can't get a hold of your more grown-up group. (see above) 2)Your players confuse their character sheets with the ones from D&D. And the Number One...You cannot come up with a more original name for your Uber-Villain than "Billy-Bob." And here's one where it's not only a bad game, you'll be sleeping on the couch for a week afterwards: You've killed your wife's Jedi Knight Ewok -------------------- Orginal TPM draft:*speeder zooms in from behind a dune* "Anakin, behind you!" *SMACK!* "Oh, no...Shoulda told him to duck!" The Jedi Consular has the speach pattern and mannerisms of Jeff Goldblum. 9. The Jedi Guardian has the physique of Drew Carey. 8. The Force Adept insits that he's a 'mage' and that his blaster pistol is a 'wand of magic missles'. 7. Your first droid's name is Bender. 6. Your group is joined by this blonde-headed, whiny-ass kid from Tatooine and he keeps complaining about how he had plans to go to Tosh Station and ever time you try reason with him he screams, "You're not my father!" 5.The Noble's first attempt at 'Call In Favor' involves, 'Daddy, I want a spaceship! I want a spaceship, right now!' then proceeds to hold his breath until he turns blue. He is twenty-seven years old. 4. You encounter the crew of 'Voyager'. They fix your ship in the nick of time by crawling into something called a Jeffery's Tube and 'reversing the polarity' of some obscure device that you had never heard of before and was sure wasn't there five minutes ago. 3. One of the players insists that his character is a rare hairless Wookie and refuses to wear a loin cloth. 2. Everytime you take over an enemy ship you have to wrestle the group's psychopath Dark Jedi to the ground before he can aim it towards the nearest sun, all the while screaming, 'But, it's got quantom armor! Quantom armor!' 1. The GM insists that Darth Maul was actually a 'space troll' and that his regenerative powers allowed him to survive the battle on Naboo and that if he hits with both blades of his lightsaber in a single round he gets to pop you in the nose with the handle of his saber, automatically dealing damage. -------------------- Just once, I wish we would encounter an alien menace that wasn't immune to bullets.
